The AI features are the point of difference. Viral Breakdown dissects someone else's video — hook structure, emotional pacing, key phrases, the storytelling formula. Hook Analyzer scores your own hook 0–100, names the word that lost the viewer and offers three rewrites. Script Remix takes a viral video as a structural template and rewrites it around your topic. There is also bulk download of up to 20 videos, a Chrome extension, a thumbnail downloader, an AI summary and a mind map.

The free-plan detail worth reading twice

On TokTranscript's free plan, your content is public. Its own pricing table has a "Content privacy" row: Free is "Public to Plaza", Pro and Max are "Private". Plaza is TokTranscript's browsable feed of community transcripts — 1,949 of them at the time of writing, each with the video, the handle, the full transcript and an AI summary.

That is disclosed clearly, which is more than some tools manage, and for public viral videos it costs you nothing. But it inverts the usual assumption: on TokTranscript, privacy is the upgrade. On TranscribeTok, free transcripts are simply returned to you and never published.

Monthly caps versus daily resets

This is the single biggest practical difference between the two tools, and it is not close.
